I am one of those web developers that have a clear vision, an ever-growing appetite for learning, and a child-like excitement when everything falls into place and just works !
I write clean code, and I take time to carefully read documentation. I am also an especially fast researcher. If I see something I like, and I have never done it before, and I can't seem to make it work on my own... I will do everything in my power to solve it! I will even click the google page number two!
I am not only a web developer though. I am a person with ambition, and aspirations. I am also a poet, a reader, an english teacher, an artist, gamer, a cat person... and a dreamer!
The internship lasted three months, and at that time I have used React to make single page websites, with MUI and without. I have made functional reusable components, and used new js libraries such as leaflet.
I have learned to organize my code better, and learned a lot about the best practices.
I have refactored and cleaned up poorly organized legacy code on real life projects.
At my first real development job I worked in a team, and learned more that I could have ever hoped for
I have worked on a massive inhouse project that was written in React; I wrote new hooks, used the premade ones, wrote components, adjusted the old ones...
Given how much I consider myself creative, it was a pleasure to work on the responsive design of the app, implement dark theme, make variants for the components, make different colorful themes...
I am incredibly glad I live in a world where
display:flex;
is a thing. I have used flex, and grid
successfully in order to make a fitting layout to my sections.
All of my projects are responsive, and have been properly tested, and centering a div both on big and small devices is a no stranger to me.
Animations do tend to be a bit tricky and flashy, but Javascript and CSS do make a perfect dreamteam. I have made animations that are triggered by scroll, on hover, click, and lately I have been experimenting with animating SVG-s.
Animista is one of my favorite css animation libraries, and I am very excited to discover more!
I have made a functional shopping cart that is connected to the netlify backend, and thus allowing me to receive the orders directly to my email.
Feast Roadhouse includes lots of different pages all in a single HTML file, and it also includes an embedded Google calendar where customers can see which dates are available for booking.
All of my projects are live, and have been depolyed via Netlify.
I have used lots of Javascript libraries and I plan to use many more! Swiper JS, and Turn JS are my absolute favorites so far.
I have experiences in reading the documentation for different JS libraries, and I have maaged to incorporate their APIs into my own projects.
Supernatural Quiz is a project I have made in order to get more familiar with JavaScript. While working on it I have been introduced to object oriented programming, writing my own functions, also updating them, making my own timer, and displaying correct results in the end.
Supernatural Quiz walked so Trivia Quiz could run!
Through this project I successfully fetched the Trivia API and displayed questions, answers, and also I let my users choose their difficulty too! Here I have also learned a lot more about object oriented programming, arrays, and targeting properties from an object that has not been declared in the global scope.
Quiz with very interesting trivia questions. Choose your difficulty and test your knowledge!
Feast Roadhouse is a made-up restaurant, but it has a full functioning website where you can see the menu, order food, and book your wedding!
